Whilst I was waiting for my EI flight to SNN the other day I sat and watched a BA A320 stroll past. Registration was G-BUSH.

I thought VS had the rights on corny regs for aircraft.

Made me chuckle and think about never boarding that particular aircraft through choice.

Wonder what Downing St would say if BA allocated this to a Blair/Government charter....[:w]

In case you were wondering the G-BUSH thing isn't supposed to spell out G-BUSH in this manner. A bit like VS BA also have funny ways of doing registrations

G-ZZZ* - applied to 777s since a 'Z' looks a bit like a '7'
G-YMM* - Ordered in Year 2000, MM
G-BUS* - Applied to Airbus aircraft, I think just A320
G-VII* - Roman numerals for the number '7'
G-BRY* - Ex Brymon Airways aircraft

There are a few others but I can't remember them, G-BYG* applied to 747s could be BYG as in BIG...perhaps a little tenuous!
