Read this on FT link here.

As usual we expect VS to copy about 5 minutes after, make loads of mistakes on the Web site, and hopefully offer dates well into 2012!

Oh I predicted the date weeks ago! :D

I am curious though, how do Airlines price match so quickly? Is it automatic? A phone call so then can all collude on prices in advance? Some low paid techy pressing f5 at 8am to refresh the BA sale prices? Is there any approval needed for VS to match a price or do they just do it?

This whole pricing thing is such a game.

I am looking particularly at QF for my OZ trip in April. Today the prices are £1000 more that they were yesterday. And what is the betting they will be down again after Christmas? ii)

And they had better be otherwise it will be EK. y)

:D I'm going to suggest a £1 difference. Flights from Man to HKG,LHR to MCO, book by 30th jan'12 for travel 22nd Dec to 29th Jan'11..

However the big one to watch now is J fares being offered which are actually on Iberia planes.. n(
