We are due to fly out of that there Yorkshire with BA to interconnect with CX at LHR. Now I'm allowed only 30kg/ea with CX in business + 15kg for being a Marco Polo Gold.
So in theory, under CX rules for three of us: 1x45kg total weight and 2x30kg total weight (with CX having no restrictions on number of bags)

Our luggage should be able to be checked straight through from Leeds to HKG (all on same ticket). Randomly for our 2nd leg (fresh chk-in) with CX to AKL, we each get 3x23kg (bizarre)

BA should honour this, but wonder if we'd get away checking straight thru from Leeds and BA seeing J tickets pushing through their own Club World allowance? my guess is we'd get smacked for excess luggage charges from CX... B)

Assume BA domestic interconnecting tickets have to be assessed against the main long haul carrier on the ticket at the point of 1st check-in, ie. a crib sheet for all the OW carriers allowances?
