Well, after all the years of dreaming about it, I am finally in the lounge awaiting my First flight in First & the sun is shining. Suddenly it all seems unreal. I am excited beyond words.

Fantastic - hope you really enjoy your trip with no queues at MIA (never done BA First myself so looking forward to hearing all about it).

Hope you're severely testing those lounge facilities

Definitely a 'Dream Come True' experience , how wonderful ! there is nothing like treating oneself to the finer things in life - have a great trip !

Enjoy the experience I certainly made the most of it! Did you stick to the T3 lounge or were you able to lounge hop to the CCR in T5?

In recent days I've been the fortunate recipient of several lovely and excited emails from hiljil. This morning was even better with a couple of texts fizzing with the thrill of it all, culminating in a photo of a beaming hiljil in her First Suite.

There's no turning back now hiljil, this could prove to be the start of an expensive habit!

Have a fabulous time, as I know you will. I wonder if you'll want to leave the cabin, will the allure of the Cape coast be sufficient?

Sorry to have missed this, but I really hope the flight was everything you hoped for and wish you a super holiday.
