Goodbye Doris, good morning LHR Cathay Pacific lounge

After a windy drive up from Cornwall yesterday and suffering Doris whilst stood on the sidelines of the School First football team pitches (to catch a glimpse of our son the goalkeeper) I now feel cocooned in Cathay's rather elegant lounge at terminal 3.

We both have streaming colds but we won't let that put paid to having some fun in Finland! Well Estonia actually. Thanks to the Headforpoints emails that flood through each morning, the Tallinn TP run is here.

Not so much a TP run for us but a weekend away to somewhere we've never been and the delights of Finnair and their A350 business product. Very excited to be trying that.

The lounge is almost deserted and the noodle bar looks and smells very inviting- coffee in hand for now - but I sense I will succumb to the noodles and fizz.

Thanks Hiljil, yes they did and he kept a "clean sheet".

Noodles ordered - really can't wait to try them. Fizz of the day is Moet.

I'm doing that run later this year!

It speaks volumes about BA that the best lounge for their passengers at T3 isn't their own.

Have a lovely weekend Marshy. After Doris(Was my mums name, very aptly named) after chasing garden covers and furniture all over the place yesterday its a lovely day not a cloud in the sky.

I to remember the football matches standing by the pitch in all weathers our second son was a goalkeeper too, what us parents have to endure but wouldn't swap if for the world, he's 36 now. Linda
