(hoping to catch honey lamb's eye with this post)

Hi, we're flying Glasgow-Orlando out of season later this year so GLA-LGW-TPA on the way out with BA and MCO-DUB-GLA on the way back with Aer Lingus booked with BA on a codeshare.

1) We've been automatically allocated seats for the Aer Lingus flight, there isn't an option (on the BA website) to change these seats. Will I be able to do this when online check-in opens? Or can I do this on the Aer Lingus website as it doesn't recognise the BA booking ref no.?

2) I've got 100,000 Avios to burn, would I be able to use these to upgrade to Business? What's the going rate?

Thank you :-D
