OK First BMI QUESTION whats the pointy end like, who has tried it?

We've flown it a couple of times.
The seats are not beds but there will be a cabin refit this year and they will get 'lie flat' seats. The current seats are very comfy though.
Allegedly, the current business seats will then be moved into the PE section which will give that section a huge boost.
The best aspect of 'the business' is the service and the food prepared by the onboard chef, it is top quality food, seriously good stuff :)

The best thing about BMI? It has to be the diamond club and the bargain redemption rates. For example, 37.5k miles and about £380 (including taxes) gets you a business class return flight to the states using miles+money award bookings. It's very handy when you can redeem with Air New Zealand and get to use their UC suites (as we've done for a trip in October this year :) )

Done it quite a few times.

Food, 10x better than VS
CONSISTENCY of service, 2x better than VS
Seat, 2x better than VS (in seat mode)
Bed, 10x worse than VS (it's not a bed! - 160 degrees)

They ARE going to roll out a new International J seat, I believe - but not sure when/where yet.

Other than that, no real worries. It's just a standard business class cabin, as with AA, UA, AC etc.
