Nothing wrong with the Caribbean in the height of summer - as long as you don't mind the occasional downpour..well, by occasional I mean generally every day..and by downpour I mean tropical storm...

It gives us the chance to be damn well British and insist on staying under the cabana even though there are sheets of water coming down and the gods are bowling above you. As long as there's a good book and an endless supply of rum punch, I'll stick with it.
