Improved online check-in system

Having just checked in for a BMI flight tomorrow, I see they have made a numbers of changes since I last used them.

As well as being able to print your boarding pass, you now have the option to send your boarding pass to any email address (either instead of, or as well as printing it out)

The emails arrives with a PDF attachment, which when opened shows the same info that's on a printed boarding pass.

So I now have a printed version and a PDF version (which is on my smartphone although I wonder if they can scan the bar code from my phone's display [:?])

Worth a try but doubtful - most barcode scanners need each bar to be 3-4 pixels wide when printed at 200+dpi.

Might work on a Nokia communicator?

In fact, I'd be interested to know in a geeky kind of way
