A 9W/EK collaboration would be really interesting. I would see the following happening:
* Domestic UK routes and Euro SH kept to a minimum. (I would be guessing the aquistion is slot driven rather than route driven.
* EK and 9W taking slots from the axed Euro SH and UK routes.
* Expansion of LH/MH services by BD. So an increase in 321's and 330's.
* TATL routes would be interesting- would BD operate onwards from LHR on behalf of 9W/EK?
Very, very interesting. The article is correct '08 is going to be a very interesting time for UK aviation especially with the continued speculation of SQ being unhappy with VS.
