I think they put the BA picture as they were saying the BA had the same problem last year from NY. However the BMI FA will be in trouble! [xx(]

And so he/she should be. IMOHO any person whom flouts the rules and regulations in respect to alcohol/drugs, whilst charged with the safety of the travelling public, should face the full force of the law in addition to any disciplinary action taken by their employer. There is absolutely no excuse for behaviour of this type and it should result in instant dismissal.

They are true as i have just found out it was a colleague of mine.

It is indeed a very serious matter resulting in instant dismissal and further action from the courts, a very silly person indeed!

Rumour is that this was another case of security staff reporting crew to the police.

Flight was delayed due to whole crew being checked and a complete new crew being brought in.

A costly affair for all concerned.
