Cheers! Though it does say in the blurb:
This offer is only available to Diamond Club members who received postal notification to update their Diamond Club account details and is non transferable.

I received my bonus 2000 miles today - everybody else get theirs?

Thanks,

I got an email saying my 2000 miles had been credited but they are not there yet.

Also waiting for another 2000 from a survey I filled in the other week.

I've earned more bmi miles this year by just filling surveys in than anything else.

Over the 20K mark now so Moscow in business class here I come [:D]

Been thinking about that myself actually. Given the cost of a D to DME, using 20k miles is remarkably good value. I guess the problem will come when trying to find somewhere equally as good value to stay [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

Note to self - read emails properly [:I]

Now I've read it properly, it does actually say:

We're delighted to inform you that your Diamond Club account will be updated with 2,000 bonus destinations miles by 13 October 2008

Yeah, I got that email too, but my account didn't show with anything 'by 13 October' - today though, I notice there's a pending credit for the 2000 miles.... wooohooo [^]

(that'll bring my DC balance to nearly 11k - only 1k of which have ever been through flying [:D])

Cheers
Michael

Thanks for that HighFlyer[y] ours have hit as well, now got 55k in Mrs JPs account and 62K in my account and not set foot on *A or BMI for getting up 14 years no miles from flights at all,if only I could redeem the bloody things.

Fab news. [y]

JP - have you had some difficulty redeeming? We are looking at options for redeeming our nice piles of miles, preferrably on SAA F or TG F.

Thanks,
Sarah

Have looked for 2 F tickets on anybody, anywhere, anytime on several occasions in the past year and after about 4 hours I just give up and book a BA flight.I did find availability outbound to KL on MAS F yesterday but nothing inbound, may buy a CX ticket to HKG and a BA reward flight home.BMI J availability is a total joke just try to get a LAS flight in the next year.We are very flexible and used to reward travel booking on VS and BA if you aren't too fussy you can easily burn miles in a good cabin. When I manage to get rid of these BMI miles the cards will be cut up, life is too short to be on that crappy ANA site for hours on end.

Thanks JP. Richard and I have a good number of *A miles between us so it might be prudent to start looking at the ANA tool now I guess. Would be a huge shame if we could not redeem them easily.

Thanks,
Sarah
