bmi regional to be sold

...with a rebrand towards end of 2012 as a Scottish airline.

And we've seen how well Scottish airlines do!

I did think we might see a relaunch of Business Air, but I believe that name is used by a Thai airline.

bmi regional goes home, for £8m.

bmi regional was Business Air, and one of Business Air's founders has bought bmi regional. Loganair are also in on the deal, which could lead to bmi regional becoming a new FlyBe franchise.

They could still do that and be a FlyBe franchise. Like Loganair do.

I think eventually it will happen - assuming Loganair are happy with FlyBe's marketing.
