Trip to other parks from Disney property

Im staying at Disney Port Orleans in mid-December. I dont plan on having a car - but would like to visit some other theme parks while there. Can you get trips to other non-disney branded trips that pick up at a Disney property?

Why not jump on the bus to Downtown Disney and pick up a taxi from there.

You could arrange a car from PO but whats the point in paying the extra mileage

Was thinking of Busch Gardens - which I think is MILES away - so taxi probably a bit much!

Yep! Tampa is the best part of 2 hours away from Orlando

if you look on the sea world web site and by a curtain type of ticket (orlando flixi tick i think) there is a free bus to bush gardens daily i dont know where they pick up but have a look

Stayed at Disney in July and didn't take the car hire option. We used the Mears shuttle service a few times. You phone the day before and arrange a suitable pick up time. Size of bus that is sent depends on demand. Used service for Universal twice and to sea World. It was very efficient. We got picked up at our Disney property and taken directly to our destination. For the return trip you phone about 2 hours before you want to return and they book you on to the return service. It was easy peasy. We bought vouchers in advance from Virgin holidays rep. Cost was $7 for a round trip per person. Used a taxi one day to Florida Mall in Sandlake Road. Cost was $37. It's a fair old hike mind you.

we used to stay in international drive and we never had a hire car.
We used to travel around the other parks such as universal etc using the lynx bus from & to downtown disney.Also the i trolley i believe goes to sea world.
