I used to work at Alton Towers & can assure you that all elements of the Press are excellent at making a routine breakdown / power cut sound like a near disaster. (Much like when an aircraft makes a routine emergency landing due to a minor fault / indicator light and taxis safely to the gate, where everyone disembarks as normal).
When I worked at Alton Towers, the gondola on Ripsaw parked at the end of the ride sequence upside down. Holding 38 people upside down for the best part of 15mins. This happened on a Friday 13th too!

I feel sorry for the Lions, Tigers and Sea Lions.
1. Having seen the general chaviness of visitors in the school holidays, imagine having that lot looking down on you.
2. All that fresh, wriggling meat tempting you.
