Not seen this reported on here, but a new "water theme park" is being built by Universal Orlando near the Cabana Bay hotel and is scheduled to open in 2017.

Yes I heard about Wet n Wild closing. It's a shame in some respects as I enjoyed going there when I was a kid, but it's been there for a long time and the new park looks like it'll be bigger and better.

One wonders what Universal intend to do with the land seeing as they own it. Build another hotel, perhaps?

Nothing from Wet and Wild will be going to Volcano Bay, it should close around the same time as VB opens. And it's looking like 2 hotels may be going onto the WnW site.
