Quite a few posts in the general discussion forum would be better suited to a "News Bites" forum as they are topical pieces about or that affect VS but are purely informative and typically do not attract replies. I am responsible for quite a few of these myself

Do you think there is some mileage in setting up a separate forum, it would also tidy up the GD forum a bit?
