Glad it is sorted.

If you are redirected to an error page, can you cut and paste details of the error into the thread. That way it helps Pete to know which part of the code to wave his magic wand over.

It didn't exactly give any specific error messages. When I clicked "post" it chucked me to this page:

http://www.v-flyer.com/ErrorPage.htm

The original post I wanted to do had a mixture of plain text and 2 emoticons. I tried to post and it sent me to the error page.

So I saved the post contents, emailed it to myself so I could try to post on another computer (I thought it was something wrong with the PC I was using at the time). I tried with another computer and it sent me to the error page.

So I pasted the contents and removed the emoticons, and it still sent me to the error page.

So finally I retyped the whole thing wihtout emoticons and it worked.

Ah well, all sorted now :)

Thanks,
Fish

Emoticons should be generally fine, but if you're adding formatting to your posts with strings of characters, (and without giving too much away), these may be trapped by the system we have in place to stop hackers.
