Website error?

Not sure if this error has been noticed before, or even if it's only me, but I seem to see all new posts in the Itineraries section, also showing on Travel Tech. When I go into Travel Tech though, the post isn't there.... very odd

I'm confused by what you mean? Are you saying when you look in the Travel Tech forum there are itinerary posts in their also?

I would attach an image of what I mean, it would make sense then, but being a complete thicky, I haven't got a clue ?|

Look at the Concourse, and in Itineraries. whatever the last post in there, will also show as being a post in Travel Tech from the Baggage Hall Menu. When you go into the Travel Tech menu, no such post will appear. :0

Do you not have a Flickr account or similar where you can put the picture to add as an attachment to your post?

Sorry Ian, cannot quite see what you are seeing. The only 'repeat' post that is in each of those places is the copyright notice.... don't think that is what you are talking about though ?|

Could have been a temp item that has resolved itself :?

Have you edited that to show them next to each other? Can you just do a full screen shot as my screen doesn't look anything like that!

Huh that's interesting... when you click the link on the travel tech bar it takes you to the itineraries forum where the post is located.

Good spot. Time to alert Pete me thinks :?

Have to look at them separately - they don't appear on the same page.

First one is straight in the concourse - Itineraries...

Second one is - Concourse-Baggage Hall-Travel Tech (5th option from the top)

Exactly right there Joey. I thought I was going mad lol. The only reason I spotted it was because I had made a post on Travel Tech and was interested in responses :)

Looks like a phpBB bug, so not something I'll be able to fix personally. I need to do an update on the forum code at some point anyway, though, so this will potentially get sorted in that process.

Indeed.. It has come up before, but as it's part of the core phpBB code I have to rely on them to fix it :-(

Virgin have re branded all of their IFE's to VERA, with then an add on depending on which actual system it is:

JAM is now VERA Touch
V-PORT is now VERA on Demand
Odyseey is now VERA Reel.

All of the on board literature and graphics on the IFE are sporting the new branding so V-Flyer has been updated also now.

Thanks,
Neil

Thanks for the update Neil.

For those of us that are watching the Gatwick refits, do you know what V-Flyer is classifying the old Nova system as?

Just to clarify, it is Virgin who have totally re branded the IFE, we are just updating our information to match the new names.

Regarding Nova, no a/c left in the operating fleet have Nova any more. The last a/c that had NOVA was G-VROY and she is out being refitted at the moment. So that just leaves two a/c with the Odyseey (VERA Reel) IFE, and one of those G-XLG will be the next a/c to be refitted and that should be in the next couple of weeks hopefully. G-VTOP the only other a/c with Odyseey will be leaving the fleet in February and isn't being refitted.
