recently flew from manchester to sharm el sheikh with mytravel airways. the outbound flight was on a B757-200 aircraft which i don't mind at all however the seat pitch was between 28-29'' and was extremely cramped. we were on the back row and the seats didn't recline at all. sat directly next to the rear toilets and the smell was unbearable throughout the flight they were never cleaned. flights however left on time and landed in SSH ahead of schedule. on our return a week later we got to the airport 2 hours before departure to be told we had a 2.5 hour delay and the check-in desks wouldn't open for another 2 hours. this is obsurd as there is extremely restricted seating in the check-in area. eventually the desks opened and we checked in. ourselves and 3 other families who were staying at the same hotel met up in the departure lounge which was tiny and very expensive. the expected flight time passed but the screens wern't updated so we waited. 30 mins later a man ran around the airport shouting last call for manchester your flight is leaving. this was ridiculous the flight was never called he even said that. about 50 passengers crammed onto the coach and we caught our flight. just!!!
luckily an A330-300 so plenty of spare seats and PTV'S! good flight home. would used mytravel again if on an A330 but not if anything else.
