MSs version of adobe flash
devil Spawn.... IMHO. It should, however, get adobe innovating again!

I was talking to an interactive media lecturer at the weekend. He reckons it's the beginning of the end of Flash as a mainstream product. Silverlight 2.0 is good enough and Silverlight 3.0 is already progressing well.

Though don't those creative types love their Adobe products - Photoshop & Acrobat etc. Also a lot of creatives who do a lot of the existing flash work use Mac's. Maybe not to the same extent they once did but still a good percentage of them.
Flash has such a domminance in the market - I don't recall ever seeing a site that says 'Silverlight plugin required'.

Sadly I was looking to fly them; hence the thread. Ryanair has a huge base in Southern England BTW.
