Does anyone have any comments on the above AV software. I have a 60 day trial pre installed with McAfee on our new notebook, but should I change to Kaspersky.

Any help/info appreciated

it's ok, over the last couple of years it has become a little bit of a resource hog. I use AVG free. I just saw a report on AV software, I will take a look at it when I get home and post the results.

I have been using McAfee for the last couple of years and I am very pleased with it. There are plenty of updates and I find the Site Advisor particularly useful.[y]

Only you can decide if its worth changing though.[:?]

if your going to pay for your AV go for norton, it had a complete rewrite for this year and is a heck of a lot better than before.

PC Pro have it on their A-List as the best performing AV / Security software in their labs analysis.

Have to admit have swapped over to it now, having used Norton, McAfee, F-Secure and Sophos I have to say I am very happy with it. Does the job well and isn't too intrusive. Though I'm only using the AV component so not sure about the other parts.

As one of around 1800 IFA's with Positive Solutions I use Kasperski all the time and it is considered by our IT department to be the best>

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I will read the article and then decide to invest.

The last time I used a Mac I am sure it had a carboard disk that I needed to insert[:D]

Many thanks
