Google offers free w-fi at 47 US airports

Valid till mid January - Boston Globe news story.

Includes BOS, MIA, MCO & LAS, but not LAX, SFO, JFK, EWR and several other VS destinations.

LAS already has free wifi, so no great gain there, though the coverage is spotty to say the least.

FLL also already has it for free, but it is a boon to those at Logan, who don't have Clubhouse access.

Actually using now in the Club America lounge, as it is giving a better strength signal than the lounge wifi!!

All of MCO airport is a free wifi zone too - I don't think the Delta Crown Room have their own wifi, they just use the free service.

Well I hope they attack those airports that signed exclusive deals with Boingo or whatever it is; crap, patchy and expensive service. However, I won't put up with Google's ads, I now have 100GB data transfer ATT 3G card for the whole US [:D].

Virgin America has it free through January courtesy of Google also.
