Anyone know of any hotels at LHR that offer free holiday parking if you stay there for a night before departure?

I think there used to be one that was popular with crew somewhere on the south side but that was a good few years ago.

I think all the hotels on the Bath Road area charge a parking fee, some of the cheaper ones like the Travelodge are only £5 though, while the more middle market chain ones (Marriott/Sheraton/Holiday Inn etc) are about £15.

There a few Premier Inn's within a 10min or so drive away so that don't charge a parking fee though.

It'd be worth looking at hotels that offer accomodation for 1 night then parking for the remainder of your holiday (you get a shuttle bus to/from the terminal) as these are quite reasonably priced, I believe.

That is a good point, especially on a weekend when there are a lot less business travellers around. During the week, the prices can easily be double that of a weekend rate, and I have found the last few times it has been cheaper to book them separately.

Thanks guys. I want to be able to park for a couple of weeks but think it might just be cheaper to go with Purple Parking...

I have booked the Sheraton Heathrow for September 2011 (I also used it last year)
1 night room only including 15 days on site parking for £88.00 + VAT = £110.00
This is available to everyone via Sheraton website

You can either pay £4 each for the hotel Hoppa bus to take you to terminals or walk 200 yards down road to get FREE bus to terminals.

Be aware there are 2 Sheratons - the "Skyline" is the one on Bath Road, the "Heathrow" one is farther out.

And depending on how many you are, a taxi drop off (c £10) can be better value than the hoppa and less hassle. Laat year I had a three week rate for about £120 including accomodation and they didn't charge me the extra 4 nights over that when I got back.

Nick

We've used this site loads of times - the 4 star 'undercover' deals are really good value if you don't mind taking a chance on which 4 star you'll get. We've had Park Inn, Hol Inn, Crowne Plaza and Raddisson in the past - all of which are good for an overnighter.

We're staying at the Marriott (the new one) in May with 15 days parking in May for £170. That might seem expensive but that does include breakfast and the hotel is quite nice.
