It seems that Boeing are bringing the Dreamliner test aeroplane over for Farnborough.

News here and here..

Looks like it will be on static display only on Monday and Tuesday and not for the public days. It will be flying in early on Sunday (18th).

P.S. This link suggests a landing time of 9am

Its arrival and Farnborough generally prompted the headline on Virgin Media news...

"Air show to feature flying displays"

Well I never. Whatever next?

Thanks for those, as Bill says, great pictures - it's certainly a modern looking plane but in the 787-7 (???) version a bit stumpy, like a B762. The longer version will be prettier methinks!

I was reading somewhere that this dreamliner will enable lower air pressure in the cabin - which will lessen jetlag. Is that right, does that have a part to play in jetlag, I always assumed it was a combination of time zones and dehydration. But cabin pressure too - who knew? Not me, that's for sure :)

Other way round - they have a higher, more normal, cabin pressure.
Probably the greater difference is a higher humidity.

The theory is that jetlag is partly caused by difference from norm.

But most believe it is due to timezones... so Boeing sales pitch.
