I guess that the A343s won't be painted (unless it's necessary for non-branding reasons) - because they will be exiting the fleet in a few years. The A346s will be around for another ten or more years, so they'll get cycled through when they need their next paint job.

Actually, a couple of the A343s might be going this year, hmmm, can't recall.

I think it's a bit of a shame that VS have got 3 different schemes all at once, makes it all look a bit random really! I hope it doesn't take as long to re-paint as United did with their battleship grey scheme, that took so long that they never completed it before the CO merger!

Given that only three aircraft have been painted and none recently, does this suggest that the sale attempt is serious and a proper rebranding may be the result?

Hi :)

To all the people who say that it's sad that the union flag has gone from the winglets, I couldn't agree more with you!

However, have a think - perhaps, going forward, VS would like a consistent livery across their fleet. Then have a look at a 787 and try to figure out how you'd fit it on there...
