You will still only be able to get a refund on the refundable upgrade part. The base Z fare will still be unrefundable

So, if you made a same mistake with BA and lost the money, would you then switch your business to VS?

Who you fly with is your choice as the saying goes, but it seems churlish in the least to me to stop flying with someone you like because you, yourself, made a mistake?
