This would make sense. I'm on the 45 tomorrow and it's showing as 1-1-1, whereas other A330s this week are showing 1-2-1. Alas, I'm flying at the back of the bus, but I may see if I can take a few pictures if we get an understanding FSM who'll let me take a quick peak up front. Fingers crossed.

That would be grand if you could!

Looks like G-VSKY is op'ing the VS107 to DTW today:

VS107 LHR-DTW G-VSXY 06/03 06/03 09:38 06/03 09:37 A 06/03 09:57 E 06/03 12:37 E 06/03 12:47 E

SXY is now operating out of LGW on the Caribbean routes and GEM has headed off to Xiamen for her refit so KSS should be returning soon

I would guess either KSS or SXY will then be heading up to MAN full time on Mar 26th ready for the new SFO/BOS flights.

The status update shows this with no A/C yet:

VS877 LHR-MAN - 26/03 13/03 10:50 26/03 17:55 E 26/03 18:15 E 26/03 18:45 E 26/03 18:55 E

When does the new B789 (G-VBOW) arrive at LHR as I thought it was any day now?

Hi All,

I'm flying to New York JFK in December and the seat map is showing 1-2-1. Does this mean I will be on the old one?

We are flying back from Antigua and the seat map is showing 1-1-1. Again does this mean new config?

Thanks in advance.

Yes to both.

Though things may well change nearer the time for either.

Is this with the new 1-1-1 configuration?

I only ask as I'm travelling to ANU at the beginning of May so would love to experience the new refit.

Like many posters here travelling to the Caribbean in the next few months and regularly checking their seats, it seems that our seats have not (YET...!!!) reverted back to the 1-2-1 config which many US-bound posters have reported.

That said, I still haven't read any posts regarding actually flying on any refitted LGW A330s

Any further updates please?

Thanks

There's still only 1 refitted A333 in service so far. The second one comes back from China next week (28th) so will probably go into service a few days later.

Also, next week, 1 of the refitted A333's is rumored to be going up to MAN for a few months as the new SFO/BOS services from MAN start next week.

There may be some press pics/articles for those new flights as the likes of business traveller etc usually do articles for new airline routes and VS usually like to make a pretty big deal out of inaugural flights as well so hopefully we may well see some photos or the new cabin next week.

My MAN>JFK flights in May are also still showing the old 1-2-1 config though.

I am on the new Man-SFO flight next friday and the seat map is still showing 1-1-1 seat map. I am hoping its one of the re-fitted 330. I will keep checking it though.

Ive booked Atlanta to Manchester in November in UC and it's showing 1-1-1. Can't work out though which seats are facing each other however but have a feeling A is a single row and K a face to face row

I'm travelling to BGI early May/back late May and our flights both ways are showing the 1-1-1 config in UC.

We're only in PE, but I am wondering what happens if they change it back to a 1-2-1 config....does it mean there might be last-minute upgrades available? PE looks pretty full in both directions.

Hi mitchja,

Thanks for the update.

I suppose we have to wait for any press releases or until a V-Flyer finally travels on a refitted aircraft.

I see Vic110 mentioned s/he is flying out of Man next week, so maybe s/he will be able to comment further in due course.

IF UC was full on a 1-1-1 config and it changed back to a 1-2-1 then there would only be 2 additional seats available. There are 33 on a 1-2-1 and 31 on a 1-1-1

Again vic110 I would be very interested on any info as we are on the Man-SFO flight in September & its still showing as a 1-1-1.
Thanks

We're on the VS125 in May (seven weeks, two days, not that I'm counting) so if there's nothing posted before we go I'll take some pics then!

Hubby and I are flying UC from LGW-Antigua on the 5th May back on the 18th. Have obviously chosen our seat numbers and seat plan is showing 1-1-1. I'm a nervous flyer, hence we have booked specific seat numbers. What would happen is the seat plan was reverted back to 1-2-1 in regards to our seats numbers?

**First Post - New Member**

I'm on the 97 to UVF on 30th April, which is also currently showing a 1-1-1, so if this remains the case, and no-one else has taken any pics, then I'll upload some of the new UC cabin. It's a great big IF at this stage, whether or not the aircraft will be a refitted one.
