In response to the request on HorburyFlyer's March cycle menu thread, here's the latest menu.

VS137 LHR/JFK 28 June

Lunch
Parma ham and asparagus
Quinoa and walnut salad
Pea and mint soup

Warm breads (wholemeal raisin & rosemary roll, wholemeal mini roll, granary rosetta roll)

Wasabi roasted salmon
Fillet of beef & béarnaise sauce
Wild mushroom risotto
Tomato & mozzarella salad

Chocolate molten sponge pudding
Eton mess

Cheese & Port (Brie, Gouda, Cornish blue)

Extra Bites
Sandwiches (egg & slow roasted tomato on malted bread, smoked salmon with cream cheese on wholemeal bread, gammon ham and mustard on grainy bread)
Carrot cake
Sultana scones with clotted cream and jam
Classic gourmet pulled pork burger

Champagne was Canard-Duchene, proper crisps


VS26 JFK/LHR 22 July

Breakfast
Cereals (cornflakes, bran flakes, rice krispies, muesli, porridge)
Fresh fruit salad with Greek yoghurt
Chocolate & banana muffin
Croissant with butter & preserves
Bacon butty
Full English breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, potato rosti, baked beans
Classic French toast with fruit compote

Main meal
Sweetcorn & miso soup
Heirloom tomato salad
Hot-smoked salmon

Warm breads (Mediterranean diamond, basil cheese roll, pumpernickel)

Beef fillet
Shoyu chicken
Vegetable korma
BBQ prawn salad

Lemon & poppy seed pudding
Valrhona chocolate cake

Cheese & Port (Point Reyes blue cheese, President Camembert, Idiazabal (unpasteurised sheep's milk)

Canard-Duchene champagne, vegetable crisps (refused by us, proper crisps offered instead)

Same as i had on VS4 and VS9 last and this week.

Lovely food, the menu back was slightly better though.

The asparagus and parma ham on the way out was great
