San Juan Charters

I'm travelling on one of these in the summer, and was thinking about the operational issues associated with this flight. Do the crew stay in San Juan, stay on another caribbean island served by VS (Barbabos, Antigua etc) or return on the flight as passengers?

Also if they do stay in the Caribbean, do they then operate back from another airport - even Miami?

I used to be cabin crew when i first left uni it wasnt for VA though i wish! But we would often travel as passengers not usually on our airline but say we were flying as crew to Cuba we would layover then catch a flight to Mexico and return as cabin crew from mexico. It happens loads say an airline only fly's once a week to lay us over for a full week for the return flight would be pretty expensive for the airline. not much of an answer but hope it helps.
