Posted: 05 Nov 2013, 01:13So I'm sitting at gate E9 in T3 LAS, waiting for Virgin America to fix their plane so I can get over to LAX. Scheduled departure 12.40pm, current estimate 5.30pm. Since there are no specific rules for airline delays, they can pretty much get away with what they like, which in our case has been a $10 food voucher.
VX do have another flight out of here to LAX leaving at 5.10pm, but they're not entertaining a transfer onto that flight. At this stage it's anyone's guess as to whether the part they have coming in from SFO to fix the part will actually fix it, and whether we're going to get out of here. Very frustrating but not much I can do about it.
