Hi all,

just a quicky prior to our ski trip next month, we're doing MAN-LHR-JFK-BOS-LHR-MAN. The transatlantic portions are UC reward flights (upgraded from M to G with miles). They were booked at the same time as the LR MAN-LHR-MAN flights, under the same booking reference and upgraded straight away.

Now, I'd assumed that - as with revenue flights - the baggage allowance from the UC leg would also count for the LR flights. Is this correct? Just checked my eTicket and it appeared not, so gave UC support a ring and after double checking they said not too :(

The chap on the phone was very nice and understanding so went and checked with his manager to see if there was anything they could do. Thankfully they've agreed to honour it this time and have put notes on the booking, even promising to reimburse us if we do get charged, just wondered if others had experienced this?
