Having played packing Tetris with our luggage, this afternoon, we are now relaxing in the SFO Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.

Two glasses of water, one Revolver (Angel's Envy Bourbon, Tia Maria and orange bitters) and a Bloody Mary (sans Port, but with Mephis Barbeque Bitters), and breathe.

Election mania continues; my money is on Trump, but we're now in the VS bubble awaiting the second boarding call in a Clubhouse Burger, Henge Fries (everything tastes better with garlic and Serrano aioli) and Cream of Potato soup kind of time.

Cece, our delightful and extremely helpful server (permission received for name thing), has persuaded us each to select a second drink; so that's another BM and a Bellini. She has inspected Lauren's cat skeleton (left over from All Hallowe's) and Garbage Day, one of our games that is ideal for travel.

Lauren gives a big thumbs up for the Henge Fries, as the last one passes her lips.

Yet again, no takers for lounge access; I just hope that the rest of the airport is as cool as this place .....

About Us

V-Flyer is the largest independent guide to travelling with Virgin-branded companies.

We mainly talk about Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America and Virgin Holidays, but we welcome discussion of other airlines and other travel options with a Virgin logo on it such as Virgin Trains or Virgin Australia. Welcome aboard!
