Looking for Econ to PE Reward Seats

Hi

What is the best tool for looking for availability on when seats become available? Is Expert Flyer the best tool and having to setup loads of alerts? Also is it P fare code I need for this AmEx upgrade voucher?

I think I must have been really lucky last September when I booked 2 Econ>PE flights (and paid for the 3rd seat in PE with miles) for Easter just gone from LHR to NYC and back via BOS. The FC agent was surprised there was availability. This was also during the 30% off sale they had

I think most people here just make a dummy booking.
Start early morning and do it 5 times a day.

im in the same boat as you. Have booked return reward flights in October in economy, but also have an upgrade voucher burning a hole in my pocket. When i spoke to FC to book my tickets, the woman informed me there was still good availability in PE for my dates so she would be surprised if they didn't offer up more reward seats. Im placing dummy bookings first thing in the morning, lunchtime and evening on a daily basis to check if any have become available!
