Economy Upgrade Prices

Hi all,

Under my booking for a return economy trip to NYC next month it says i can upgrade to Premium Economy or Upper Class for money,

I have been tracking for a few weeks and seen upper class upgrade price shift from £3000 to £1,800 round trip & premium economy £777 - £1200 for a round trip. Just wondered if anyone had seen anything lower than £777 for a premium economy upgrade? Flights were £400 return in economy and am tempted by PE but want to see if it might drop again!

I've seen return Premium fares for as low as £734 to NYC (which I what I paid for MAN>JFK return the other week).

£777 seems excessive to me for a one way or even a return Premium upgrade from Economy.

I personally wouldn't pay more than £300 for a one-way Economy>Premium upgrade.

There is currently a VS sale on, however, its Economy only from what I can see.

Upgrading at the airport is cheaper, but with the obvious risks of potentially full flights. I generally pay £150-250 (each way) at the airport for upgrades depending on the time of the year.
