Seems to be a bit of one of VS's specials - a silent sale on some routes

LGW-MCO in upper coming in at £1694 or £1844 with a car each way.

Am sure there will other routes if you have the perseverance to look about

Just a pity they don't advertise these fares

BA have just launched a sale, according to the always reliable Head for Points site, so maybe a bit of price matching going on?

Certainly, they don't seem to promote any lower prices, not in the way they used to, you seem to really have to dig for them. I sometimes just wonder if I'm looking in the wrong place. Or the wrong airline

The BA sale according to HFP is nothing to write home about apparently.

I find Google Flights really useful for searching for the lowest price over various dates and destinations.

The prices on VS / BA for early December are insane and almost to the pound when BA sale prices start in Dec, so do VS!
