recently booked lhr to fort myers via Atlanta for easter next year,
the original flight vs104 left heathrow at 9.30 am giving us a 3hr connection in Atlanta.
this flight has now been changed to 11.00 giving us 1hr 45 min to connect.
is this enough time to clear customs etc or should I try to change to a later connecting flight with delta(all one booking/pnr)

It's doable, given that ATL is very easy to navigate, but a little tight given you'll have to clear immigration, collect your luggage, clear customs, recheck your luggage and reclear security.

However if you're on one PNR you'll automatically be put on the next available flight if you miss your connection, so there's no need to rebook yourself.

(Also, there's a reasonable chance that your DL connecting flight will be retimed between now and April, given the US airlines' propensity to tweak their schedules.)

Yes. Similar for me CUN-ATL-MAN but had no problem in the end
