Where are you flying to?

You will need to speak to VS where they will either move you onto another VS flight on the same day of travel to your destination or discuss other alternatives such as a part refund etc.

As has been well documented on V-Flyer, problems with the Dreamliner engines mean VS are short of serviceable aircraft and some flights, including yours, are temporarily being operated by Delta. Unfortunately that means no PE cabin on the affected flights.

In your case I would ask to be rebooked on to a direct MCO flight, which will have PE (and will save you the time and hassle of connecting at ATL).

Or, if you're willing to 'slum it' in Y, you would be entitled under EU law to a partial refund on top of any goodwill gesture VS may offer.

Or - and this may involve a bit of a fight which you're not guaranteed to win - you could ask to be rebooked on to BA, which does have PE on its ATL flights.

Or you have the right to cancel for a full refund.

Just been told flights at Christmas changed with a move from premium (booked in May) to economy (and Virgin to Delta)!

Not happy!! What do we do Virgin????? >-(

We are flying on Christmas Day & our flight was changed from a VS to DL. We were going to TPA via JFK. We wanted to fly with VS so I rang FC & they have moved us on VS05 to MCO via MIA, you would get premium on this flight.
