V-Flyer

Just wondered if anyone could help... we are looking at flying from New York to Las Vegas on Delta. Flying at 'P' First class...if the flight is indirect with two different planes and different flight codes but under one booking.. would we get rewarded for each leg? So say...NYC - Detroit (40pts) then Detroit - LAS (40pts) or as it was one booking would we just get 40pts for the whole route?

The problem arises when the two legs of a journey have the same flight number, and the intermediate stop is considered a break in a single journey, rather than two distinct flights. Then you receive just the one TP allocation, rather than two.

From your descrption, you'll be fine.

It's each leg IF you actually change planes and have different flight numbers.

There are some routes in the US that make multiple stops under the same flight number. That is considered one leg despite the stops. But there aren't many of these and if you have to physically get off the plane and change, then its Tier Points per leg for sure.
