Good evening,
I have booked a florida holiday and cruise through virgin holidays. Travelling PE but wishing to upgrade the outbound to upper class, im told the flights are out of allocation till 330 days. Does anyone have a rough idea of what it will cost, been quoted £2888 for 3 adults for the whole journey but they cannot do a one way upgrade tilll the 330 day mark.

That sounds about right. They won't be able to do a one way upgrade until the flights are available for purchase which is T-330.

£2888 sounds reasonable for UC return for 3 adults. But one way would almost certainly be cheaper, so if you only want one way, wait a little and then try again.

If you want to upgrade with miles, James' post here may help - viewtopic.php?f=4&p=939661 - and if not it does give some input on the general process too.

Rather frustrating time with VH, upgrade not available on outbound, now they cannot do either way till my return flight is released. Never know it be so difficult to spend money.

Once the flights are available from VS at T-330 days, even if V Hols have no availability, they should still be able to request a revenue seat in a higher cabin for you.

There’s no guarantees, however, it’s always been made available when I’ve requested an upgrade.
