And a very nice place it is too.

The staff are friendly, and it is a beautiful space. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of fresh flowers, from the, er, fresh flowers. It feels very spacious, however it is empty at 0802am.

That said, nothing comes close to sitting in the Virgin Clubhouse as staff approach with Champagne top ups and conversation.

Fasttrack Security was reasonably fast, but again, Virgin's Security Channel is faster all round - from access to speed of use.

EK have self service Veuve Clicquot , although I have not touched it.

Don't worry I had plenty of Dom Perignon on board.

That flight was amazing.
