Altogether a good VS experience.

A slight blip on arrival at Heathrow as DTCI not functioning due to some problem, not the end of the world though.
We were checked in efficently & speedly & were through security within a few minutes.
After a stop in duty free we soon in the Clubhouse & whiled a away a very enjoyable 90 minutes.
Left CH on 2nd call & walked straight on to aircraft without any delay, just had time for one glass of bubbly
before take off.

Food, flight & crew all good, no complaints.

On landing at Newark we were pleased to see short immigration queues but less pleased to be allocated to
the slowest line, but no real problem.

Traffic in to the city was light so a quick journey.

Day after arrival in NY we boarded the QM2 for an 8 night crossing to the UK, arriving back this morning, it was
our first experience of this wonderful ship, it certainly wont be our last, we were very impressed.

Welcome home !

Glad the flight was up to standard and delighted that you enjoyed the ship. You really should try the westbound next time. An hour longer each day and a wonderful arrival in Manhattan which always takes my breath away.

We had our first experience of QM2 in July when we sailed on the 175th Anniversary crossing from Liverpool to Halifax then onto New York via Boston. We were also very impressed.

QM2 now docks in Brooklyn. It's still a breathtaking arrival.
