Worst Virgin flight to date. Almost 100% capacity, uninterested staff who woke up nearly every passenger for food/drinks whatever. Very unusual - surely an eye mask means do not disturb?

Chicken pesto was a watery slop, the chicken was so wet/soft that you could pull it a part in a single poke with the plastic fork.

43E has an unfair amount of underseat legroom, eating into 43F who has to 'share' with 43G. Bit of a battle for putting bags etc in that space.

Quite a while since I did an Economy flight with Virgin as they tend not to fly affordably on the routes where I'm obliged by work / finances to take Economy - but this sounds like a pretty grim experience for a long haul leisure route (and waking folk up with eyemasks on is bizarre unless the FSM has insisted the crew do it).

How was your outward leg (or was that with someone else)?
