Check in was a breeze and wished by golf buggy to the lounge, had a couple of bubbles whilst the wife visited the duty free, again taken by golf buggy. On the plane with about 30 mins to take off. No champagne offered, we asked why and they said if they serve it now it all gets drunk before the stop over at StLucia. Stop over took about 90 minutes and was quiet slow, but had one glass of bubbles. Flight home was a breeze, ate, drank watched a film and slept, Woken for breakfast with about 90 minutes to go. Staff on plane were excellent, straight through customs, luggage took about 10 minutes and back indoors in Kent just over an hour from touchdown.
Upper class is a luxury we don't want to give up, but if we are paying for it, we have to weigh it up against the hotel and deal.
