I'm a store manager for a major fashion retailer in the uk.
I have a small scale comercial beekeeping business (I produce and sell honey locally).
I also own a static burger van that's open 7 days a week.
Simon is a facilities manager for one of the big six energy providers and manages 3 sites in the Cardiff area.
We don't have days off, just holidays! Lol

I am a Civil Engineer but have always worked in the rail industry - 25 years in a few months!
Since moving to Australia I have never done so much flying (distances don't work for train travel) although predominantly domestic for work. The joke round the office was that if I was employed by VA I would fly less.
But I recently changed jobs and took a pya cut so I could have my life back (still manage a few weekends away and holidays to keep up my VA platinum ff status :D )

I took early retirement from the Police when my son was born. To finance his school fees I started my own company (cookware shop). Unfortunately it means our kitchen cupboards are full of every conceivable kitchen gadget known to man ii)

What a lot of really interesting jobs you all have, I was an assistant manager of a Furniture Company for my last 13years of work (lots of Oak in our house).
Loads of jobs before that, RAF, selling houses and white goods. Now retired 8D

Hubby was an engineering officer in the RAF and they retired him at 55 on final salary. So we are youngish retirees hoping the money will last. (three holidays already booked this year), and two 30 plus year olds to spoil. :0

I currently manage functional resources for the financial services consulting arm of a major database, enterprise software and hardware company. I use the term 'currently' advisedly as I spoke yesterday with my boss and sponsor in the US to be told he had been given the chop the evening before... :0
