To all those mums who frequent here wherever you may be .
Hope you've all being spoiled and are enjoying a day of rest . (I'm not as yet as DB, DL the Elder and Nessy are all arriving here shortly for lunch ).I do miss my 8 burner 2 oven range cooker at times like this !

A friend of mine has posted on FB that he wanted to throw his hymn book at the vicar for calling it "Mothers Day" when it is "Mothering Sunday"

I hope DragonBaby is suitably pampering her dear mother though!

Have a smashing day DL , Mrs B needs a break for sure so that's why I'm off to Spain next sun for a weeks fishing , how kind am I eh !

DL, why are you cooking on Mothering Sunday? You should surely be sitting at ease, glass in hand, pampered to the hilt.

Alas neither of my offspring live nearby (150 miles and 3500 miles away) but I had wonderful phone calls, cards, flowers and champagne. And a few tears when no-one was looking.
