Don't think we have a final agenda as such, but a crowd will be seeing Katzenjammer at the Brunton Theatre on the 19th.

Now that the box office is open, could all those that are interested please confirm, and meanwhile I'll check out what the group rate is.

Right, just spoken to th Brunton Theatre, and frankly their group deal is a bit pants. For 17 of us, we get one seat free, which works out to a discount of just over 73p per ticket. Given the PayPal cost of collecting the money would be about 63p, then we wouldn't be doing a group booking for the discount ;)

The Brunton Theatre do, however, offer pre-assigned seating - which is unusual for a Fringe performance. The question is, do we actually need to sit together, or (like Vegas), once the first person books we all make our own arrangements aiming for as close as possible?

Tickets are £12.50 full price, what say you all?

Show details on the edfringe website

Actually - edit to add, since the Edfringe website doesn't even let you specify a place to sit, then it's probably not that important;)

Thanks Pete,

As we are booked for a different performance that evening (prior engagement and so sorry), will the V-F group be having a meal or other gathering prior/or post Katzenjammer?

Ok, looks sound enough to me - are we just booking our own tickets then?

Cheers

I think that would make sense. The group discount isn't worth the hassle, and if I were to attempt to collect the money centrally, there's the paypal fees to consider.

You can book online at http://www.edfringe.com or over the phone 0131 226 0000. The performance you need to book is Katzenjammer at the Brunton Theatre on the 19th August.

I think I may be able to drag myself from the civilised side of the country for at least a couple of beers!

JAT - am I right in thinking you're from round my way (lanarkshire)? How are you planning to travel?

I'm dropping out of this one - as I'm unemployed at the moment, I'm rationalising my expenditure and I'm afraid this was one weekend that was expendable.

Cheers
