Not great, I'm afraid. Safest options for us is either Curry or Italian.

Chinese has been known to cause projectile vomiting for me although Mrs D is fine with it. If I choose carefully I should be OK. Obviously no MSG is a requirement for us both.

We're sorry too but we have a 30th birthday party to go to :(

Chinese = Ocean Palace on Talbot Road
Italian = Mamma's on Topping Street or La Piazza at Cedar Square
English/Mediterranean = Kwizeen on King Street (this is a particular favourite of mine but only seats 40 so you may struggle to get booked in now?)

Hope these help - if all else fails there are millions of burger and kebab shops loool

:) S xx

Cheers Shaz!

I think the latter two may be the best ideas as chinese and Indian can be troublesome.
I'll happily try and book Kwizeen - I know thats the only Blackpool restaurant in my (trusted) Time Out restaurant guide. It says the food is good, its just the restaurant has an "achingly bad name" :D

Cheers!

Right, sorted Kwizeen (name still makes me laugh :D) for 8:45 on Saturday. This was the earliest they could do. Its a provisional booking and said I would call back later today.

Is this okay with people?

Cheers!

Bit of a limited veggie choice for me.

Did I miss the reason why curry was no longer in favour?

If you call in advance they may be able to offer other veggie options but would need some advance warning

Wish I was coming now :(

Thanks for booking

Looking forward to it[y][y]

Following on from Sarah's point, I arrive 10pm on the Friday night - so will be bright and breezy on the Saturday and can make any time.

Right, timings and things.

We travel up Friday afternoon, planning to just go to some of the bars etc in the evening. Flying Handbag a must!
Saturday, the Pleasure Beach is open from 11am - 8:30pm so once we have gathered those who are around up probably head down there around middayish.

Table is booked for a meal at 8pm, after that is anyone's guess!!

On the Sunday we need to get to North Wales to see my family so will have to leave around 11:00 - 11:30ish.

As for meeting up - best thing may be to use our mobile telecommunication devices. If anyone doesn't have mine or Dean's number and needs it drop a PM.

Thanks
Mat
