Mrs D and I will be there on the 4th also. We're booked into a hotel in Oxford for the night called the Old Bank or something. Anyone know it? All the recommended 4*s were booked up [:(].

I don't think the 4th is an option for the competition, as I know that the 4th was the most popular choice with the Golds and the others attending.

I got the e-mail last week. I, Mrs csparker and the two little csparkers should be going on the 4th. Haven't received the tickets yet though. Looks like it should be a good day out.

My kids are dead chuffed that they have been invited to the house of the man that owns the aeroplanes that I fly on to the USA.

I'm sorry I'll have to miss this years event..[:(]

I have tickets for the 4th, how far is it from Oxford are there other hotels closer.

I used to live in Kidlington.

Its about 4.5 miles from Oxford.

Bowood house is probably nearest in Kidlington.

Never stayed there but people that have say its ok.

That is a botley No. but serves part ot of southampton/fareham
if its the same company who did the channel challange they are based in Whitley nr fareham.
