There's three partners down at present, so you're not the only female so far but you are the only female V-Flyer user. Be honoured to be the innovator! [:D]

The only girlie V-Flyer member, but AFAIK there are 3 'missues' coming along [:)]

BTW Bazz, after reading back through the thread - I think Rob, Anteo & jaguarpig expressed interest in the early pages (and that ChuckC was on about coming over too [:)])

Cheers

Hehe ... hopefully that'll change after you meet me. Maybe i should wear one of the more feminine of my boiler suits LOL

Probably not. I dont think i can pin him down to the date, plus he wouldnt enjoy it as much as me anyway. [:)]

I'll send them each a PM to see if they can be persuaded to come along.

We are only waiting for confirmation from Dougie & Mrs Dougie so assuming they are still okay it looks do-able at 63.12. If we can get a few more then the price will come down a bit.

Hotel.

Can those of you who will need a hotel please let me know your requirements in the next few days, either here in this thread or if you prefer by PM. Once I have the numbers I will see what kind of a deal I can strike.

Coincidentally that's more or less what i'm after [;)]

Additionally some form of late drinking facilities would be useful.

Okay so far we have three doubles single occupancy one double double occupancy (Decker) all with full english and en-suite and a late bar! Things are taking shape.

ChuckC may be able to get over for a few days and is working on his schedule, it would be great to have a SoCal member join us for the 'do'.

No confirmation yet from Dougie, guess he might be away, havn't checked the itineraries section must admit.

Pix, Nottingham Nick and Highflyer (as you will have gathered) have all confirmed.

Any more for Hotel accomodation please?

Best put me down for a room. I'm guessing I won't be in a fit state to drive afterwards...

I more than likely not to be drinking again, so will be driving home.

Just out of question though, what hotel costs are we looking at?

Thanks,
Richard

[:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

I'm really sorry but reviewing my diary for September I have a clash and regretfully social is having to lose out to professional. We CAN'T make the cruise as a conference we have to attend clashes with it. Really sorry about this - if commitments have been made that involve expenditure we'll still chip in our share so nobody else suffers.

Sorry you won't be able to make it Decker, pity it clashes but work must come first (sometimes [;)]).

ChuckC is going to come over from SoCal for the social [:)] so the impact of Decker having to drop out is somewhat mitigated however we loose one (Mrs Decker) so unless we can find one more the price will go up a little.

I am meeting with the hotel manager shortly and will let you know prices in the next couple of days.

Pix I have noted your requirement.

If you don't get one extra the offer stands to pay for the missed place. [:)]

I planned this just right didn't I? Found out today my provisional moving in date for my new place is Friday 24th - so I get one night in the new flat before spending a night away - LOL [8D]

Count me in for the fun! I would love Disco-BBQ, but anything will be fine. I will bring a partner if that is OK?

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi VSNorwalk and welcome, we will certainly put you and you partner down and make sure you enjoy the event.

Will you need hotel accomodation and if so what sort, double, twin?

Still awaiting confirmation from Dougie, he hasn't visited since 27th July so I guess he is away.

Picture of Pink Champagne, sample buffet menu and bar tariff now included in the opening post in this topic.

I will have to pay a deposit by the 20th August, that's just 7 days away. I hope to find out today how much that will be and I will then let you know.

I also hope to get the room rates today, I have been holding back a bit hoping to hear from Dougie, more rooms = more bargaining power.
